Our long standing presence in Sierra Leone since 1996 as an NGO enables us to work closely with communities in the following domains:
Impacting the local communities at grassroot level, SSLDF provides a sense of sustainability, for a population who have experienced so much suffering over the years. SSLDF continues to place the needs of others before our own.
At Magbenteh Community Hospital we provide a quality of care for our patients with a diverse team of national and international Doctors; providing free health care for under-fives in a country where infant mortality is amongst the highest in the world; and ensuring that health care is kept high on the agenda at a time of economic instability.
With the Magbenteh Community Boarding School, the essence of our core values is truly felt; Love, Serve, Integrity and Excellence. Providing education, feeding and accommodation to children affected by Ebola and from the most deprived surrounding communities. This initiative allows children to feel a sense of worth, relieves the financial strain from their guardians and works towards improving the education of Sierra Leone for a better and brighter future.
