The Magbenteh Community Boarding School held a sports day recently beginning the second school term on a vibrant note. The school’s sports teacher Mr. Bah was successful in training the boys team for the proposed monthly regional sports day held on the 18th of January, 2019.
The event was held at the Bombali District Education Council Primary School where the two schools met at 11 am with each team having supporters cheering them on. The Magbenteh Community Boarding showed their talents and played their hearts out. Sports for children are a way to show their talents and challenge one another, and although our guys didn’t take home the win, they received something more, love.
They received love from their coaches, their teammates, their supporters, their rivals, as well as love from our readers.
